Time Off (U.S.)
All U.S. salaried and salaried non-exempt employees are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) based on salary band and years of service.
Employees on leave of absence, regardless of the reason for the leave, stop accruing PTO after sixty (60) days of continuous leave.
See the Leave of Absence Summary for more details.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How do I track paid time off?
You and your manager are responsible for coming up with a system that works for both of you. An ideal solution is for you to add all your PTO in your Outlook calendar, which your manager can access.
In what increment of time may I take paid time off?
Paid time off may be taken in no less than half-day increments, unless approved by your manager.
What happens if I do not use all of my accrued paid time off by the end of the year?
Generally, accrued, unused paid time off is forfeited at the end of the year, unless your state or locality prohibits “use it or lose it” policies. See the Paid Time Off Accrual Addendum for additional details.
